George Kalkounis

George has been a licensed real estate agent for over 30 years and has helped countless clients find their dream homes and investment properties in that time. An engineer by training, George applies his knowledge to help his client find quality properties in and around the GTA. Most is his work these days is with the same clients he has helped over the last 30 years and their referrals, as they know George is always putting his clients needs first.

George’s story started in Southern Greece, completing a Marine Engineering degree from St. Paul Marine Engineering Institute in Piraeus, Greece before migrating to Toronto. Migrating to Canada brought many changes to Georges life but one constant was maintained, his passion for engineering and construction, housing and real estate.

Shortly after coming to Canada, George completed a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson before working for the Government of Ontario and Canada in several positions, leading large-scale initiatives for various projects such as Ontario housing projects.

Today George brings his vast knowledge and experience to not only his clients but the agents within Blue Door Realty as a mentor.
